what shower external mixer should i get, looking at a grohe euphoria system.
any advice welcome 🙂
oh yes, also, what is the best way to stop water getting from top of tray behind tile s🙂

Hi tiredeyes

Welcome to the forums, hope you find helpful

Like yor chose of shower screen and shower ,although think Grohe are not what they once were as regards quality

Make sure you use a good quality sanitary silicon and seal round tray before you tile and afterwards, obviously no plasterboard,if you have plaster board walls remove and fit aqua board behind area to be tiled

When fitting screen make sure you seal as per manufactorers instructions, often seal round tray first, fit screen and seal around outside only, this allows any water that gets in screen frame to drain back into tray

imho

Thanks all for welcome 🙂
do you plaster on top of aqua board ?
forget that, no you don't, just waterproof tile adhesive and you good to go.
how would I aqua board onto a thin breeze-block wall though ?
