So winter is upon us, dark early nights again! i have always been really annoyed me when loading my van! The lights like most vans are crap! Can't see to get or put anything away! Not this year!!!

I bought this set off eBay, LED light kit which retro fits into most vans etc & OMG there amazing!!! My van has gone from a dungeon to supersonic daylight :0

12V LED Light Kit, Interior, MWB Van - Sprinter - Ducato -Transit -Relay - VW | eBay

I am going to be fitting these to every van I ever buy now!!

Yeah I could not believe how bright they were!

Led's too, soo tiny draw on battery! My brother is a mechanic and did a draw test on the lights only 0.03 amps! So they could be left on all night with no real worries he reckons! 🙂

I may have to look into these for my transporter.

Mine is a transporter too... So I know how crap your lights are lol!

It will be the best 35 quid you ever spent... Pretty easy to fit too, everything is in the box! I used little choc blocks instead of the crimps provided because my crimp tool is crap!

makes it too easy for the pikies to have away your boiler though 🙂

This is a big problem for me but never thought of doing anything about it, just swore loads. Pack bought! Cheers for the review!

got similar in ex bg van I bought but also got a battery save gadget attached if you leave lights on or door open to long kills battery until you press reset button next to battery fab bit of kit once I sussed out what had killed all electrics whist loading back of van for first time

I fitted 4 x 12v kitchen unit lights. Just over 20 quid & it's very, very bright in the back of my van.

Fitted mine last week. Such a good idea, no more scratching around in the dark! Especially now clocks have changed!! They even dim on and off with the interior lights

Excuse the messy van

Are these simple to wire up I've bought them but haven't fitted them yet mine got a switch help please stupid guide please cheers Pete

Forget the switch ?? I've bought the same kit as everyone's talking about ?? Without a switch how u turn it on and off ??

Link it to switched live from light loom. Then they will come on when you open door. I then cut the switch in to shut them off if I wanted to

It`s in a thread somewhere but if I remember right.
Remove fuse for interior lights from fuse box, disconnect the wires to the original light(s) and join the new wires without the new switch to the old wires therefore the new lights works like the old one(s) used to.

Amazing tip lads, thank you. I was able to drop the headlining to hide/protect the wires . Just used small hole saw with the pilot set low for entry points. Have ordered two more strips.....this set comes with an adapter that replaces your normal bulb so same level of control as before just more light and very quick install.

have you been affected by that bad storm in the phillipines?
