NewTeam power shower

Hi

I have come across a Newteam power shower 3000T which Bristan inform me is now obsolete.

I have been asked to replace it however in the roof space there is black box which the cable from the shower goes into which i presume is some kind of transformer.

If i were to replace this shower do i need to have this removed or can i replace it with a similar Bristan type shower? I would ring Brstan but the boys and girls there are ever so helpful
