bring back the oul chain i say.ya, some of them are rediculous for there purpose.the little foam cocks and 50 plastic bits that can all be taken apart. they should do a 5 day quick course on them.

the variation in all cisterns is crazy, every time you lift a cistern lid you wondern what space shutle contraption you are going to find, i have found as a general replacement for these cyphone/dump valves, plumb centre do a push button cyphone will a flexible cable that goes to the button, the button can be fitted either on top of the lid our in the hole provided depending on its size also be aware that there is two size diameter on the outlet, the standard and 2 inch one aswell oh the joys
"keep it simple"😀

just find one you like to work with and carry one in the van if one gose wrong just replace it its quicker than trying to get the right spares

i carry one cheap one with the button on a plastic pipe and a mid priced one with the rod type push button
