oftec course

hi all i'm training to plumb at the mo,

i am thinking of doing my oftec qualification (there is loads of non gas area down here in cornwall)

i've got some questions.
1) its gonna cost £660 for the week coures and another £500 or so to register. How does this sound to what you have paid else where in the country? and just how quick did you get that back?

2) how advantageous do you think it would be to me in getting a plumbing job?

3) any other thourghts on the oftec thing?
