One of my upstairs radiators is cold. I've tried bleeding it, the Lockshield valve and the TRV valve are both open. The TRV valve pin is fine and pops up on its own, I've even had the radiator off and flushed out any sludge etc. but it still isn't warming up. When I try to bleed a little air comes out then it stops and now water follows. I have tried turning off all other rads when heating is one but still nothing.

Please help

maybe blockage in the pipe supplying it? try to get rad off and run some water from each valve to make sure you have flow, if not then its probably blockage or faulty valve

Faulty jammed valve closed on lockshield. If the radiator is cold drain. remove and check for any signs of flow in the pipework

If the radiator bleeds ok and you get water out it is unlikely to be a blockage. I'm thinking an air lock. These can be a real pain to get rid of.

If you can, try attaching a hose to a drain off point and blast mains pressure water through the system, it usually works.

Either that or attach a hose to the bleed nipple take bleed nipple out and and open the trv when there's water running turn off and do the same on the lock shieldlock shield
