Hi

I was working on a job yesterday low pressure installation. extending a 15mm gas pipe by about a foot. The meter was an e6.

no appliances connected, so when it came to purging and I cracked the nut on the compression cap end, I was wondering why the Pressure in the system felt very high. Almost like mains water (but not quite) could there be a problem with the regulator or something?

thanks

I’m a first year apprentice 🤔 Thanks so much for pointing that out.
Ask your supervising engineer. Maybe loose the attitude as well. People will help, just explain your background, especially as it relates to a gas question.
