Opinions please on mrcentralheating.co.uk and revive radiators

Hi all
Has anyone had any dealings with mrcentralheating.co.uk andd imparticular the revive radiators that they sell?

Im just wondering what the quality of them is like compared to k-rads, as the price is nearly £100 cheaper when buying 4.

I am always dubious about buying heating items online.

Delivery iss only£10 which is good.

They are cheap, but they dont dont double convectors. I have had a few jobs with these rads being supplied by the customer, a few have turned up damaged. Had a few missing the vent and blanking plug. I have also found the threads for the valve tails to screw into seem to vary in tightness which is annoying.

ive done a search , can only see 1 post. Ive checked and they do double convectors according to there website, but if you have found the quality of the rads are hit and miss I might not bother. Easier if I have a problem i gueess to pop to local plumbers merchants

Used them last year to buy 30 rads, column type.

All seemed perfectly acceptable quality. Delivery was very good too. So no complaints from me.

i've bought rads & boilers from them, but i always collect from there glasgow branch, so dont know what they are like for web orders. i've never had any real problems with there rads. They have a few branches, maybe there's one near you.

spoke to them today pricing up a large house they have changed there previous brand for the premiums because they were having issues

i've bought more boilers from them than rads, as i prefer doing boiler changes. any rads i've bought where ok though, had the odd mark on a rad but nothing more.

going to get the pack deal on a duotec 1 40 kw and add rads as i need sizes no one else can touch them for prices and in these times its the difference between getting the job or not

yeah, there prices are the best around, i dont even ask my local merchants to match there prices, as i know they cant get near it. are they gonna deliver to you and does the promax not go up to a 40kw

yes they are delivering for a tenner promax only goes up to 33 only the duotec comes in 40

me and my former supervising gas engineer brought a glowworm off these guys about 2 years ago, and the Serial number had been scratched out literally, data plate ripped out, no MI's, was absolutely disgusting, sent it straight back. poor customer service in my opinion.

Never had a problem with them personally. Always been spot on with the delivery, products and when i have spoke to them on the phone.

i use mrcentralheating in glasgow, best prices for boilers to be fair.. dont really do accounts or whatever, in with cash, out with boiler... dont know about customer service or returns etc.. cheap and cheerful
