Hi to you all, I only registered last night and this is my first post. I hope someone can come up with a solution as I'm at a loss with my leaking overflow from the larger water tank in my loft. It started a year or so ago, I renewed the rubber washer in the ballcock valve of the larger tank, the water level in this tank was right up and overflowing out of the pipe, the level in the smaller tank normal. This was only a temporary fix as it started to leak again. I then fitted a new ballcock valve, this fixed the problem for some months, about a year at a guess. Then it started leaking again so I then fitted another new ballcock valve, this time I fitted a Pegler as I was told it was a better quality make. Dripping stopped again but only for a few weeks. I exchanged it for another as I guessed it was maybe faulty. Soon after it started dripping again, so I dismantled it but found no reason for it not to do it's job. I now have the old unit back on with the rubber turned round and the arm bent to reduce the water level. Needless to say that it soon started to leak as before. I've checked the ball float for leaks and it's fine. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, I hope someone can help. Alan.
