Hi
I have an old customer only on a pension and on her system she has 2 old Satchwell zone valves, motor open - motor closed type, 5 wires red, black 2x white and an earth, fitted in an airing cupboard half in the wall a nightmare to change complete but you can get to the motor top ok. the hot water one has broken down.
My question is does anyone know of a replacement top that can be a straight change.
I have told her that it may be a new chtg kit and alter pipework in the airing cupboard and loft, but knowing this customer she is going to struggle with anything digital 😕 .

Thanks 🙂

Horstmann produce a timer specifically for older users whose sight might not be what it was. It has a big display and a large one hit sequencial button setting. Its dead simple.

dont know what its called but contact Horstmann in Bristol

you can get synchron motors for them from most anywhere as long as the valve moves freely that should do it
