Right, scrapping the Victoria plumb bathrooms, after doing a lot of research found out they're suites are really poor quality and a shocking company to deal with! so thats out of the question.

anyone any experience with Phoenix Bathroom suites?

and the supplier Nationwide Bathrooms (based in barnsley) but seem to have a good website for internet based sales.

im running out of time now and need to get one ordered by end of this week!

cheers guys

I fitted the Phoenix Iris bathroom suite and found it to be stylish and well designed and of good quality. Installation was quite easy and the fittings supplied with it were of good quality.

The TC suites are quite good for the money (they are often massively discounted online). The only complaint I have had about some of the TC suites is that the design of the pan for water saving can be prone to skid marks if one doesnt aim carefully! 😛

Just in case anyone is still wanting a cheap bathroom suite, bought from an online retailer. Please be aware that many of these are cheap continental imports and the water inlet on the cistern is not 15mm and comes with a terrible adapter that well any time I've used one, leak and the water inlet is usually on the opposite side i.e left hand side from our normal right hand side which can cause undue problems with the installation. Taps that come with these suites are often poor quality and many will not even fit a 15mm or 22mm standard tap adapter and you have to use a female coupling on the threads. The baths are often so poorly made, that tightening up the taps and waste even lightly can damage it.
You gets whats youse pays for is true!
In my opinion, it's best to buy the best quality that you can afford as you'll be using it for (hopefully) a long time. This is not a personal dig at online retailers, but learned through (costly) experience. Some budget suites are basic but ok.

Bathroom321, best of luck to you and your website looks ok. However I've 2 points-Free delivery only in England and Wales? Many of the online retailers I buy from offer free delivery nationwide including Scotland on orders over £249 and their products are cheaper. That £239 suite you sell, I can get like for like online and for about £169 including taps, wastes, fixtures and fixings and VAT. We all have to make a living, but I'm on here to hopefully help people as they have helped me.
The added delivery charge is often what makes a bargain actually work out more expensive than buying locally from your local merchants.

Like I said earlier, some of the pottery that is going about just now is absolute crap and I've had cisterns full of filler, Toilets that don't fit bolts on BTW units, basins that look like a kid had crafted them at nursery and baths that would be better housing fish than people, and we're supposed to guarantee an installation when a customer buys stuff like that?

You get what you pay for and in my opinion, stick to the quality brand names.

Id been looking for 2 bathrooms for my new build for a while, i'd been in lots of showrooms and merchants but couldnt get the price i wanted to pay. Nationwide Bathrooms came up trumps!! They dealt with all the companies i had on my shopping list. I emailed asking for an overall quote, which was replied to the same day and was very competitive!! I then phoned to discuss a couple of items and was again impressed to find they had knowledgable staff on the phone line. I placed my order with them, asking for 2 deliveries as i couldnt really store 2 bathrooms, they agreed but still i only had one delivery charge. All my goods where delivered at a pre arranged time by their own driver. Order was complete and intact. I would highly recommend this company.

Had one of the Phoenix whirlpool baths fitted and the pump started leaking after 6 years. Outside of warranty, sure, but no way is six years good enough. After sales service is terrible, as Phoenix don't even know what parts "they" fit to their own product, which makes me think they're just importers of cheap garbage.

I would not recommend.
