Who here uses pipe freezing kits?
I've never used them (new plumber), are they any good, do they save time and if so is it worth buying the disposable ones or the more expensive re-usable kit? 🙂

i use a freezemaster 350 d can't fault them and no rush to get the job done not like the disposable one you buy in b&q.
rothenberger are good for pipe freeze kits.

I have used the 'polar' gas canister kits.

Not bad at all, saves having to drain the system down to do your work 🙂

Hi
I have the Roth pipe freezer, great bit of kit 30 mins to remove a rad put stop ends on (leaving rad full with valves left on) no mess ready for me to tile, and thats from start to finish. You can leave it on for as long as you want so no rush if you need to go get some bits for a repair.
