Quoting a job fitting a worcester bosch junior 28i, whats the distance from an openable window for the AIR INTAKE if a plume kit is fitted. Looked on line cant find the answer.

Thanks

150mm. Look in the flue instruction manual. Towards the back is the plume kit details.

the 150mm is a building regulation (as well as the manufactures instruction) as you cant drill/weaken the wall within 150mm of an opening in the wall.

Thanks makes sence!

Looks like where I/they want the boiler may be closer than 150mm from the window. Can you angle the flue away from the window as boiler will be on wall and window to the left? How can I sight the boiler there?

Thinking that thought - how far from boundry can it be? And the flue will be coming out the wall at an angle.

Any ideas?

maybe use a elbow above the boiler? the boundary is normally 600mm when facing and not causing a nuisance to neighbour.

Angle the flue elbow at 45 degrees and fit a 45 degree elbow. This will take you more than 150 from the window.
