Hi guys /girls looking for a pointer as to where i can get a 4" flat roof flashing kit for an andrews water heater someone is installing for me, have subbed out a job i got offered and have been doing the run around to supply the parts however the merchants never supplied a flat roof flashing for it .
When asked today got a blank look and said they dont do one , showed them the mi's which shows it can go through flat roof however they are playing dumb .

Anyone know of exactly what kit i need as the merchants are doing my head in

many thanks

Multifit make one , it looks like an aluminium hat with the flat bit ontop cut off. You get roofer to felt it in..... Alternately if your feeling cheap a mac flash from plumbs , Graham's. has the flue got a lip on it to overhang flashing upstand?

Could u get someone to make a lead flashing for u much better than the stuff u get at the merchants

Seldeck same as mac flash, you can use but they are the poorest option as if the roof floods the rubber bit goes down and then u have a water filled boiler, garage or wherever ! Round alu ones are the daddy for flat roofs. Unless u just going to mastic the seldeck down and paint with Matt black paint so it looks like pitch? Or my favourite is white mastic and Gaffa tape (490mm from opening window)

Just get the roofers to felt onto the flue with torch on. They are good at that
