hope you can help with this as its niggling into the back of me grey cells.

what is the gas portfoilio for when you do your initiall acs?.

before you answer, i was a cat 2, told by the acs center i need a 49 job portfolio. i told the assesor i have around 25 completed some 2-3 weeks before i passed the acs but didnt give them to him (nor did he ask for them), after i passed and half way out the door on my way home i asked if he wanted them. so technically, i didnt have to give any, did i.....?.😕

My porfolio was just looked at by assessor then given back to me. He logged jobs and these were given as evidence to the awarding board. He also told me that the Gas Safe inspector may wish to look at it when he comes to see me on the 8th June (worried.com) hope that helps

I had to get my portfolio signed off by assessor before i could sit my ACS.

We had to have a summary sheet listing all the jobs we had indiviual sheets and photos for. Ours looked through the file and kept a copy of the summary sheet, for their records to prove what we had done - BEFORE we could do ACS!

Oh and Gas safe weren't bothered about the file - they only wanted to see jobs you have done on your own, not under supervision.

is that because you were cat 3 lads?.

sort of a way of proving to him i was cat 2 i think as i work for myself, could be wrong?.
