Hey All,

I wonder if anyone might be able to help. I've got a Kane 250 FGA and everything seems to work ok on it i.e it's set up ok and I am able to get readings from it such as O2, CO2, Eff, Temp etc but...... the only thing it's not giving me is any reading for CO.

I've used it on my own boiler which is a Vaillant Eco-Tec 418 and as above I get adequate readings for all categories but nonetheless, it's not giving me any reading for CO or no ratio for CO/CO2. In addition to this it's reporting that the boiler is 98% efficient.

Could the Kane 250 be up the creek ? Any advice most appreciated.

As lame says, sensor gone. Send it off to Kane or your service agent and they will replace and recalibrate. No CO reading, no number for machine to calculate CO/CO2 ratio. Have your machine serviced annually. Sensors very... Sensitive 🙂

gonna cost some 200-280, hence better off bying a nice new 455 with 5 yr warranty on sensor

Personally I use Anton Sprint. Last May I paid £41.25 for service inc. certificate. £38.25 for an O2 sensor and £63.75 for CO sensor. Under £150 for the lot. Kane must be overcharging!:smiley2:

kane uses ir sensor guarenteed 5 years no cost at all apart rm annual certification

I have a Kane 250. How do you calculate the co/co2 RATIO?

I have a Co reading of 20. CO2 reading of 5.6. O reading of 11.1. Eff N84. Xair113.2.

The instructions say it shows Co/Co2 ratio! But does not explain how to get it to show it?

Can anyone help?
