Hi Guys, Had a call today for a customer asking for a power flush quote.
And that was just it.
“How much for a power flush.”

Told him impossible to quote until the system spec been seen, and that would require a visit to his property.
My question is:
How do you guys, depending on system size and other spec, structure your pricing for a power flush and can you place pricing structure on here, if that’s okay.

Ask how many rads, what type of boiler, have they got tanks in the roof space, how old are the rads/boiler and pipework etc etc. then give them a price. You will get most done in a day unless they are massive systems.

Just go £50 less than BG. One a day and you will make a good income.

or just tell them one days labour+ chemical + power flush hire ( even if you own it)

£290 plus vat for first 7 rads then £15 plus vat for every add rad.
thats a fair price I think. I wouldn't want to do it for any less

You may think this is a stupid question: what are you all callling a rad, or per rad, as during my browsing I've noticed some are counting a double panel as two rads for powerflushing purposes.

A double is just one rad for me

What do you do if you've blockages? Are they included or do you charge for the time it takes to clear them? By that I mean cutting out ones you can't flush.

Extra charges at £42 plus vat per hour, estimated at 1 to 2 days because I don't want the job if it's a blockage in the first place.
