price of a worcester combi install

went to a customers today where they had a new worcester combi fitted.the original boiler was an open vented system.,the installer removed old boilerfrom downstairs,bricked up/made good,relocated new boiler to airing cupboard,upgraded gas supply,3x flue extensions roof terminal and pitched roof slate,magnaclean,scalemaster,full system flush,rf stat and programmer,6x trvs,no corners cut,all in for £1800,how can you beat that?

How can you beat that? By completing the job and then handing them a 20 pound note instead of a bill! That's too cheap. Unless it was a 24i?

Cos the boiler fell off the back of the lorry and the phone number the bloke left is discontinued.

That's why I avoid install work these days. May as well work in Tesco if they are gonna carry out installs at those prices.

needs another £1000 - £1500 min. putting on that price tbh.

its probably a employed gsr or non registerd person who has not brought any of the materials, paying no tax, no warrantee etc......

either that or the customer is full of it.

you dont need to beat it as they probably had no insurance or gsr ticket coz they arent earning enough to cover any overheads and will be bust in due course.

£1350 quid for a boiler change combi > open-vented to Sealed > removal of old floor standing boiler >Power-flush included.
That was my quote for a low range combi & somebody beat it, couldn't believe it.
