buckley plumb

fitted a new radiator for a customer 2 wks ago for a builder who was doing an extension to a house.got call this morning saying customer had to have BG out as there was a smell of fumes in the room and they all felt ill. I arrived to be told BG have id boiler and on report it said poss leak of water from pipe to new rad on cable under floor causing toxic electric fumes ???? - customer going mad with me as BG advised them to all go to hospital and blaming me . removed floor and no leaks anywhere boiler gauge still on 1bar. customer acusses me of messing with boiler all I did was re pressure htg system . got call tonight off builder saying he was there when BG returned today and they think its the boiler and they told customer I am responsible used the filling loop on the boiler - sorry but using a filling loop does not mean I have to do the checks on a boiler I was employed to fit a rad not work on boiler - I am now a BG hater something like this could ruin a sole trader.customer is addimant I should pay BG who she called out as I touched the filling loop - realy got to me

Find out where the numpty lives or even better drinks (he'll be relatively local) and kick the shyt out of him just because!

have you found out what has caused the problems, i take it there was nothing visually wrong with the boiler. If there is nothing visually wrong with it, why would you investigate further. I would lay out your case as reasonably as possible to the customer

There are times when i hate ****s like that who act like complete cocks in this industry, Blaming decent trademen instead of blaming them selves or not doing there job properly...As said, Find out where the clunk lives and have a word..Feel sorry for you brother, Try not to let it worry you.

chilling with a few bottles of leffe mate help me forget about today lol

Make a complaint to b.g. They can't make false accusations, particularly ones as serious as that. I wouldn't let it go mate. But for now have a beer!

Last mans finger prints on the appliance he gets the blame.

Actually should be a lesson to everyone, as most of us are practical and wouldn't think twice about topping up the system what other little jobs do we do that can leave us open to such accusations?

I hope you took photos of the exposed pipework and hopefully there are no cables in the vicinity of the pipework or at the very least the cable was dry.

I would be on the phone to BG questioning the competence of their employee considering there was no leak he should have sourced the actual fault instead of guessing / looking for an excuse.

i totally agree i would be playing ******** with bg demand to speak to a supervisor, then kick the **** out of the engineer

Dont you have to perform a visual check on outsode of boiler ? Cant remeber where i heard this ?

If your customer is saying you dod somthing to the boiler well is it the "toxic" fumes from the cable or from the boiler ? Because if they had a leak and there is no leak then point proven ! If there blaming you fpr there boiler being broke then why make up a leak and fumes by radiator !

As said go take a cricket bat to the BG mong ! Then brick the windows of ur customer.

I would pay for bg to come out again and ask for same engineer. Then with customer by his side I would ask the questions.
These guys usually like to play the big man, but once they see you know your game they @🙁@ there pants.

Make him shake in his boots.

I have never ever hear of a such a baoul shaite ! Water on cable causing toxik fumes 🙂 pmsl
It just proves that BG are ****kkkking idiots
how can you even come up with a such a statement to customer and blaming another engineer ! Don't think you should be commissioning boiler when all you have done is turn it of drain down and filled it back up ! Did you turn boiler of when you were doing the work ????
Will not surpriseme if the level of inhibitor my be low and you are to be blamed too
dont get to fight the man just smash all the windows on his personal car few times

I'd seriously phone up BG and demand to speak to the engineer in question. There is no way you could be liable for anything wrong with the boiler if you just fitted a rad. AFAIK you only have to carry out checks if you've disrupted the gas supply to a boiler.

Is his name on the report? Find him on Facebook and abuse him.

Lynch the hatefull little shyte and expanding foam the custards exhaust pipe for taking BG's side..........

To be honest speak to the builder again ! If he was there he should of said to the bg man and the homeowner that he was talkin ****e ! Toxic fumes ha ha
