Around about what pressure would you require a pressure reducing valve to be fitted generally?

well...Generally around here you don't need them as most of the houses around here have 2.5bar incoming, If I was working in a house with an incoming pressure over 3bar then I would fit one, Generally speaking

depends on where its fitted, and what its doing, rated between .5bar and 7bar is standard. specific types made to measure. where is your's fitted

In my village and the surrounding area the pressure cang et up to 6 bar so I tend to fit them quite regularly. I usually fit the Caleffi ones which have the gauge on so you can tell what's happening.
