Alright all went to a job today and the heating was pumpng over and also float valve in F&E cistern was nakard. So did a full power flush took most of the day because systen has a lot of sluge in it and also changed valve in cistern but still heating is pumping over the central heating pump is set on number 2 tried tuning it down to 1 but still no joy. What are the main causes for pumping over😕

Badly designed system, vent and cold feed wrong way round or pump in wrong position.
PS. thats why lots sludge in system in the first place.
You need to sort the pumping over out or you'll have the sludge back even with inhibitor.

Yes, I agree with Ecowarm, check the pump position, and where it is in relation to the vent, the vent should be on the negative side of the pump, the sludge was probably a result of the pumping over, rather than the other way around
