Rad Sludge?

Hi all

Got a mate who has one radiator that only heats up at the top but not the bottom. i dont usually do powerflushing or anything like that.

each radiator has its own draincock so if i kep emptying it and back filling it with the garden hose would that sort it out?

Also is there a way of putting in central heating cleaner by F&E tank?

If it is only the one rad, can't you just turn it off, drain it down throw it out in the garden and wash it through......
