Hi All.

After having no heating over Christmas now new year , have decided to try it myself , as unable to get a plumber out for over another week.

Problem is the following :

Baxi boiler works fine , copious amounts hot water , all rads cold, told my motor in the motorised faulty and needs replaced , so keep moving the wee lever across , so cope with that

However 2 radiators have developed leaks from the radiator valve right through the spindle, have switched off both as massive water leaking through. But having done that I have now no heating in any radiators. All pipes are microbore.

Going to have ago myself, researched through all the great posts, and the but that concerns me most is fitting new valves on the microbore pipes. And obviously refilling from the airlock .

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips that could share.

Thanks
G

Were the spindle goes through into the valve.there hopefully will be a nut, open valve and tighten this nut, hopefully will tighten down on packing and stop leak through spindle

Thanks for help quality, wouldnt budge and now have a slight constant drip, so know where i am going tomorrow.
