hi guys can anyone help.... i have had work done on my radiators recently and one in particular makes like a gurgling noise when i turn the heating on, i have bled it many times and water is coming out the top of the radiator, but the girgling still continues till the radiator heats up then it goes away, not completely but not as bad as when the rad is cold ?
any suggestions would be helpful, thanks

Hi. As you say normally associated with air in system. Vent all rads and any other air valves that may be present in airing cupboard etc. Have system off when venting. It may well persist for a week or two, but should clear with time and effort. Good Luck

Also you may find this is air stuck in connecting pipework, this will hopefully clear after a while or

1. check both rad valves are open well, this includes balancing valve,it maybe nearly closed in its balancing position, open up fully counting turns of spindle taken, this will allow better flow and hopefully dispel air in pipework, once done, close valve same number of turns to re set balancing position

2. with heating/pump on start to close all other radiators, this will increase water flow through pipework to rad in question hopefully clearing any air trapped in any bad runs,
