How do you earth the rads? or do they need earthing?😕

Radiators do not have to be earth bonded unless in a special zone such as bathroom,wet room,there was/is a craze to cross bond every thing but when you think about it,it is more dangerous to bond a radiator with plastic pipes ,just as it is not needed to bond pipework under boilers,but people do it coz it looks right,if house wired to todays standards, no need and if property not up to standards can be more dangerous, starting to cross bond everything,if there is a fault somewhere all you could be doing is spreading it about,if no rcd fitted in fuse box.

This is what BS7671 Says about the bonding of extraneous conductive parts. If its wired to the 17th Ed of the regs you don't need to bond it if not bond it.

5.2 Omission of supplementary bonding
Supplementary bonding is permitted to be omitted by Regulation 701.415.2, where the location containing a bath or shower is in a building with a protective equipotential bonding system installed in accordance with Regulation 411.3.1.2 and all of the following conditions are met:
• all final circuits of the location comply with the requirements for automatic disconnection according to Regulation 411.3.2 • all final circuits of the location have additional protection by means of an RCD in accordance with Regulation 701.411.3.3 • all extraneous-conductive-parts of the location are effectively connected to the protective equipotential bonding according to Regulation 411.3.1.2.
