hi

have a rayburn boiler/cooker the heating and hot water stopped working and now cant get the boiler to stay alight.

I use the pilot to start it but as soon as i take my hand of the gas it goes out.

any ideas.

Faulty thermocouple,blocked pilot injector,gone out on overheat stat.

What model is it?

Its a 380G

hAad thermocouple changed last year and injectors cleaned - not sure if went out on overheat room stat only be on about 13 most of the day.

above the boiler thermostat knob is a hole in the casing,inside is the overheat reset button,see if you can press it in(probably need a pen or something).If it clicks,then that's your problem and the pilot should light.If not,you'll need an engineer.
