Our 8 year old ensuite shower is giving very inconsistent temperature output! we don't know the make or model so I'm wondering whether to bite the bullet and buy a "branded" replacement. The centres are 150mm - photo below (apologies for the angle but the only way to get the existing unit in 1 photo)

any thoughts gratefully received

Possible failures: limescale on the inlet filters, cartridge failure (would need make and model for this), Venturi if a particular boiler.

We have a water softener, no idea what the make /model is (but believe is was bought through the Eastbrooke catalogue) and we have a hot water tank
