recycling grundfos circulating pump?

hi,I have a grundfos circulating pump that i rescued when the old boiler tank were replaced with a combi boiler,In the interest of RECYCLING are they useful for anything, apart from in a central heating system?
perhaps in a fish pond? in the garden? can they push water along?
i did a google search and they seem to be to move hot water under pressure, I hate to throw them away...all ideas welcomed!

Skim the bosses then there is no reason why most could not be re-manufactured.

Strip it down and get the copper windings out. Worth more at the scrappie.

Years ago we used one to make a rudimentary power flusher for ascot water jackets im the greatest one for recycling (mean) but im afraid its a hunk of useless meyal

Power it up for a minute then disconnect it remove the capacitor without discharging it expose the wires and stab it in the first bit of road kill you find, let me know what happens as I've often wondered if I'd need more then one.
Ps you may need to create the road kill yourself as I believe it may need to be relatively fresh.
