I have got to go out to 1 of these boilers its just had a new fan fitted on it but it is still doing the same problem. E5

It fires up Vibrates a little so the flame isnt steady then it goes out after about 5 seconds it is as though it is over/under gassed.
Working pressure fine. Flue fine. Air intake fine. I thought the fan seemed a bit slow and it was squealing a bit so thats been replaced.

I am going back out today to try and reset the gas valve and CO settings. anything else anybody reckon it could be

Yeah thats what I thought. Do you know if there is a way to reset the gas valve on the low setting I know the max is turn all the way in and 6 1/2 turns back out but can you reset the minimum setting

They don't need much of a adjustment to make a big difference if you've wound it all the way out or in it'll take a while to get it right. your looking for 8.8% co2 on high and low.

Also worth noting they have updated the gasket between the burner bar and front plate as the older ones were breaking down and causing f5 faults

Hi, usually on an E5 fault you need to fit a new ignition service kit S101391.
It has a set of gaskets that all need fitting, the important 1 is the graphite seal that replaces the rope type, that fits on the burner & seals onto the burner flange.
Remove the burner/fan unit from the H exch, remove spark plug, then carefully the white insulation ring.
From the front of the flange, remove 3 screws holding the dome like cover, you can now push the burner back thro' the flange, remove rope seal, if it doesn't fall off the burner & fit graphite seal.
Fit new cover seal, burner flange seal, white insulation ring & new spark plug & gasket.
Refit burner/fan unit & reset co2
