Repair on buderus 500 combi

Hi guys
i have a leak on above boiler, coming from the 2 brass nipples cold and hot, from the abs plastic heat exchanger connector. Made an initial attempt to remove the plate as not sure if it's the 2 nipples leaking or the plate, it's an absolute pig. Anyone know the best way to remove this? Tried from the top but stopped short of stripping everything out it!

I contacted technical this morning, their one off repair is cheaper Than I could do it, plus they have all the washers, orings etc. and it's a cow of a job, passed it to Worcester. Poxy job anyway
