Just been called out to a house where they had drilled through a plstic microbore pipe. The wall is block with dot and dab plasterboard, pipes run between so little space between plasterboard and wall. I have taken out a small piece of the plasterboard to look at the problem, I plan to elongate this hole along the line of the pipes so I can get a bit of play in the pipe. I will then make a recess in the block wall, it is soft block so not a problem, to allow a coupler to fit behind the plasterboard Then cut the pipe either side the hole and fit a coupler, the pipe is grey so assuming it is Hep 2O.

This seems the easiest way to fix the problem, anybody have any better ways or tips.

Be careful mate, remember you will need to be able to push the coupler on to the pipe and then pull it down to get it in to the other side of coupler, You may be better off exposing a bit more pipe and cut a section of the pipe out and replace using 2 couplers, It is quite common for the boarders to cover the pipe in dab and you may not have any movement in the pipe!

Speedfit do a repair section which incorporates 2 couplings, one of which is like a slip coupling so would be suitable for this job, only thing is I'm not sure it is available in small bore sizes

make the biggest hole u can do dynamite or jcb, then get loads of fittings hep jg all that plastic Sh"t and trial and error "who dares wins"
Tell the Idiot who drilled in it to watch out for cables and pipes in the future Assh""e
