My BAXI Combi 105 HE does not come on some mornings. The "burner on" light glows orange as if it was on but the gas burner is not on. So far, my engineers have cleaned out the fan venturi and pressure switch tubes ( no change ), fitted a new hot water sensor ( no change ) and most recently, fitted a new PCB but it still failed to fire up today. This has been an intermittent problem for over a year and I usually end up turning to reset until it fires up. Any ideas please?

Have you paid for all these parts / repairs and the boiler is still not operating.?

The parts you have had replaced are testable and can be by-passed to see whether they are causing the fault. - ( Except PCB )

I would be finding someone with fault finding skills rather than a parts changer.

Most boilers operate through the same sequence of events prior to ignition. If the boiler gets to the ignition stage, then the problem is not with the parts you have had changed.

I'm sure Croppie will be along soon, but in the meantime: unless you are gas safe registered and can prove it you will not receive any advice regarding gas appliances on this forum.

Seek out a gas safe registered engineer who knows their job well. A post with your location in the looking for a plumber section should see you right.
