I am after a bit of advice. I currently have TP9000 Programmer with remote sensor that controls both the HW & CH. The system is horrific to operate and i have opted for the Hive 2 with HW self install.

All seems to be OK from what i have read but when i have taken taken the TP Casing off to see the back plate wiring it seems a little different to what i expected and i wonder if anyone has any advice?

The Hive 2 with HW wiring seem sot suggest that terminals 1 & 2 be connected but on the TP9000 they are not present and there are also wires in terminals 5-6 for the remote sensor? Any advice would be great. I have added photos to illustrate.

best to get a spark or heating eng out as changes would need to be made
