Hello everyone,

Im usually around the gas forums so hello to everyone first hand!

Anyway, Ive been giving a right horrid job. Replacing an old Euramo C 2650 commercial pump. Its a twin head, three phase pump, with 2 1/2" iron either side.
The pump appears to have been working on just one motor for a number of years, and as there is only one lead of three phase availiable I intend on putting in a single headed pump.
The actual size of the building is three floors, but there are not as many radiators in as when the system was installed so Im confident that a single motor is more than enough.

So, I wondered if anyone could reccomend a replacement pump, Ive had a look but cant find anything even similar to the pump that was in, Its most likely obsolete now.
The price of the pump isnt a problem, so any recommendations are welcome!

I have been looking at this:

Grundfos UPS65-120/2 Glandless Circulator Flanged Bare

But there appears to be two variants of this pump, 65/120 and a 65/30. Both of which I cant tell the difference!

Any help would be appreciated, as Its been a good few years since I did anything install wise on heating - I try to just stick to boiler servicing!

Many thanks,

Ryan.

The system will never require 2 pumps. It is know as duty/standby

If you speak to Grundfos they will spec the pump according to the old pump. It's very different to domestic. You have to take into account pressure drops and head and flow.

I wouldn't go for a magna. I would say something like a upsd may be better. No modulation. Just straight on or off.

But really. Speak to Grundfos

Hi mate,

I did try to speak to Grundfos but I couldnt get through to a proper technical department, also that link I put should be a ups type pump?
The last proper commercial install I did was a few years back, but even pumps seemed to have moved in such a short space of time!

Will certainly try and speak to someone at Grundfos tomorrow morning again, I would be very happy if they could spec me a pump with regards to the old one.
