When we moved in to our house there was a vertical radiator in the bathroom and we'd like to switch it for a heated towel rail. However the holes for the mounting brackets in line with the central heating pipework holes at the bottom of the radiator. There doesn't seem to be any towel rails that are made like this. I know the mounting brackets are adjustable but I'm not sure if it's going to be possible to use the existing holes. There are basically 4 holes in a row at the bottom - the distance between the two middle ones is 22cm and the distance between the outermost holes is approx 34cm. Sorry for the lack of technical explanation, but any advice about how to use the existing holes would be amazing.

Sarah , you may open a can of worms here , if you have any tiles it might be easier to get a pro in to alter the pipes for you.
Please also be aware, that is a radiator, it will , providing its sized correctly heat your bathroom, to change to a towel rail is sometimes a mistake , a towel rail heats towels.

yes as townfanjon says would be best to get a pro in as 1 break tile 2 bathroom cold as not work out the right kw output 3 flood ye hse 4 pro no mess and will look tidy

Towel rails don't heat the room effectively, especially once theres a towel on it,

As for the holes In the tile if there is't any spares under the bath?

The either grout or silicone the holes to hide them as best as possible,
If you can find a towel rail where you can use some of the holes and there in the right place, Go buy a lottery ticket

You can get high output towel rails that cost plenty & will heat the room. But I can't see you finding one that will match those holes...best to do as advised above...
