Replcement for this shower

Hi guys been asked to provide a quote for this shower x2.

Cold off the mains, hot off unvented.

Customer wants chrome.

Any recommendations?

Doesn't have to be top of the range. Will need to get from PTS or City Plumbing or Drakes as on account with work.

any good quality thermostatic mixer, depends on what there budget is, and how long they want it to last, think about availability of spares & warranty

I'm not sure, if quote gets accepted I will deal with it then.

bar mixers - once fitted - are a god send. so easy to change.

15mm compression types can be a pain if you can't get old olives to budge especially if new shower won't go fully back to tiles without doing so

concealed showers are work of the devil.

its not just concealed showers that's just bathrooms that are evil

the better a bathroom looks the more of a nightmare it is once something starts dripping, not flushing etc.

that's usually when the guy who installs them won't come back and schmucks like me turn up.

Yep.... Another plumber makes thousands whilst you turn up, risk life, death and the chance of getting poo and wee on your hands for the sake of 50quid.
Not that Im complaining.....

Nah me neither. It beats stacking shelves for £50 a day which I what I was doing before. I still genuinely consider myself very lucky.
