room stat wiring

hi all
some advise needed our central heating system does not have a room stat so boiler keeps coming on and off every few minuets. so i have ordered a wireless room stat. can it be wired strait in to the programer as i have not got a wiring diagram for programer it is a potterton ep2000 is about 16 years old the boiler is a glowworm fuel saver 50 mk2.

wire through programmer

for thermostat control interupt terminal 4- heating on
and take live and neutral from programmer also

be careful when working inside preogrammer as could be used as main wiring center and you do not want to be disturbing any of the other wiring🙂

good evening
i have fitted room thermostat working ok but i looked at the cylinder and there is no cylinder stat is this normal thing to do.the boiler still keeps coming on and off every few minutes
