room stat

i have a baxi duo tec with a rf stat i was forever having problems,so i got a mechanical room stat ,2 wire install, simple i thought,i removed the reciever from the pcb and took the reciever off the boiler,i took the loop out room stat connection and followed the mi regarding wiring configaration,. nothing would not work any ideas

having talen loop out of rm stat connection on pcb connector I am wondering where original pcb was connected to , prehaps you need to pay for someone who knows what they are doing coz you have not installed it correctly at present.

there was a lead from board to the receiver,were i removed the loop is were the live neut and earth is, two wires from stat 240v out switched live in what am i missing?

What rf stat was it you was haveing problems with? The link you have removed should have been removed when the rf stat was wired in from the start, unless it was wired on the low voltage side in which case should be removed to get your mechanical stat to work

baxi duo tec baxi own branded rf stat,link was still in place, the receiver was linked to pcb,were is "low voltage side"

thats strange because it.s working ok.the mechanical clock was not connected but defo wired up correct,perhaps my initial question was ambiguous
