had a call back to a house today that i chacged the cws in the attic about a month a go, running overflow (badly) went there to find the float on the part 2 collapsed and full of water, took it off and dried it and cand see to get a drop of water out, anyway , replaced the float, and called an electrician out to check the stat on the immersion, anybody had this before?

aii, ball still in the van , still full of water, cant get a drop out, and totaly dry on the outside!

Is it the blue float sold from plumb centre? I've seen a few of these before and they fill with water, must be a pinhole or poorly manufactured.
