got called in to service this 350,meter was pouring out gas and the boilers insides were rotted replaced it with a 40 kw duotec HEA,it had even rotted the air duct

yes pressure was dropping on the gauge even when on full

Was the meter protected at all? What did the provider say?

I do find those itron meters are more prone to corrosion then the Elster ones.

yep it was hissing its nuts of ECP said its very common,no prtection other than in a built in meter box

Meter looks like 2000 but can't quite see the date. Still not long for that amount of damage from salt air!

see the same on this side of the bristol channel as well, rotton flues and inards , meters corrode quickly as well
