Hey.. just wondering if anybody knows the current going rate for scrap copper? thanks!

It depends on yard, more than you think, I was last in start of sept the price has increased since. It will be good regardless

Why,you been googling the local church roofs 😱

The prices are good at the moment

Do.nt forget you need a waste transport licence to take it to the scrap yard

The local councils have started stalking local srap yards,pulling over people and checking paper work

Just out of interest where/how do you purchase such a licence?

And how much is it?

All tradesmen I speak to don't have one.

looked into one about a year or two think it was £115 a year and you get them from the local enviromental service look at local.gov,.

As the world economy picks up, the demand from China will force up the price of all raw materials.
Metals and oil particularly.
