hi, what do you guys use regarding screwcaps /covers when fitting toilet pans. Some manufactures supply a sleeve and cap but others dont, just wondering what you use

3" brass screws, paint them with your missus white nail varnish if required

if they are supplied with the pan we use them,if not 3" brass pan screws.

screwfix do the white caps to fit various screw sizes worth getting a couple of bags of 100 its amazing the places you find to use them

"They dont supply it for nothing, the germans are not stupid you know"

is what was said to me the first time i didnt use the screw caps 🙂

Totally agree with Plouasne. I use Fischer basin kits and WC kits, usually order 5 at a time from Screwfix. Top dollar.

The mounting holes in some WC pans are too narrow to accept the Fischer fixings.
