Hi
I work for a heating repair company and visited a newly installed NG combi standard efficiency.
Boiler was purchased via flee bay and fitted by a RGI in Nov 2012.
I understand that it still ok to fit this in a park home at present but not a standard house.

Would you deem this illegal and not work on it?
How would it be registered?
Would or should the manufacturer honour any part of the guarantee?

thanks in advance

if its working correctly then just treat it as you normally would
How would it be registered?
it cant be registered, to register it (benchmark) it needs to meet the current regs
Would or should the manufacturer honour any part of the guarantee?
you will have no warrantee from the manufacture most likely
thanks in advance

answers above in red.

I may be wrong but I understand they can still go in park homes and as such the regs for normal homes dont apply so they would still be warrantied if fitted iaw mfis, and as can be registered as they meet the regs for mobile homes
