serial number for potterton boiler

is it only me ,
but got a call from customer with a serial number for a potterton boiler
bp 34650069, no sign of a model or gc number. on the appliance
so trying to find out is there an easier way to relate the serial number to a boiler type,or gc: or do i have to contact supplier to narrow this down, instead of trawling through all there manuals to find it.
any assistance appreciated.

it's insaide the front case if i remmember corectlly

cant really expect client . to start pulling case covers off,
will probaly just have to call out to root it out,

awful nuisance when they live 12 miles away though,
drives the daughter mad when i rob her laptop and disappear for the day with it,to look up manuals.
