Seriously cheap makita sds max

I will donate you a spirit level if you negotiate some pukka deals on tools for me, whilst I sit in the sports bar during Folkstone tool day at Bluewater. Sound a good deal?

Bought 4 of these to sell at cost to friends in trade etc, only two arrived today, phoned Axminster and they held two back thing I'd ordered two extra by mistake.

Thanks again Billy!

Axminster defiantly shouldn't sponsor this place, I' never have any money!

(My drill arrived today 🙂 missus wasn't impressed though, apparently I have enough already)

Just been out to have a bit of a comparison with my Hitachi, they both seem evenly matched in terms of chiselling, didn't have anything of substance to compare drilling performance, the couple of 22mm holes i did they seemed similar in terms of power, the makita is slightly more comfortable to use, though the Hitachi feels better made, probably down to the exposed metal gearbox.

though the makita has the nicest tea towel 🙂

Just orders one not to sure if it's going to get much use but for the price hey ho at least I'll have it for future jobs just need some bit's now.

For all those that grabbed one of these and hasn't picked any bits up yet. Went to tool station today and got heller bits for it and have to say I'm pleased with them, cost me just over £35 for a point 25mm flat and 50mm spade bits not bad considering they are half decent bits

What? You probably get on better with broken toes?

I'm not getting into a debate on whether or not I should be wearing steel toecaps. All I will say is I've worked for years without them and I'm fine. I can't stand working in them.

Yes, I know, I only need one bad accident to lose my toes, and no I won't come looking for any sympathy if I do get my toes crushed.

If I'm forced to wear them on a particular site, then I will do so but the vast majority of my work doesn't involve lifting heavy things, and the most likely thing to happen to my feet is I drop a heavy spanner on them. Painful but not serious.

I like my samba safety shoes for everyday work in peoples houses too  When i was young i loved the pit boots with the toecap on the outside in fact i used to polish the caps up with brillo pads when i went out to the pub on a friday night. If i never found anyone who fancied a square go i could smash every milk bottle i came across on the way home

These drills were manufactured 2009 not that it means anything...I've just registered my 3 year warranty.

Thanks again Billy and keep those eyes peels for more goodies.
