I have a pontential new customer with hot water pressure issues, he owns a local hotel and the customer complains the showers almost stops at certain points. The set up is an unvented (bubble top) on the ground floor, fairly chunky monkey too ... this feeds 1st floor 5 rooms approx and two small rooms/bath rooms 2nd floor, because of the age of the place (500 years old) the builder stroke/previous plumber (you never get the full story🙂 .. stated that there could be pressure issues and the cold water storage cistern (highest possible point in the loft) is supplying the unvented on the ground floor, apparanetly supply from the street could not be used to feed the unvented directly. Can any boosting pumps be fitted to overcome this issue?

Yes you can fit a booster pump but your water storage would have to be of large capacity for a hotel as potentially could drain the storage of water in very high demand times this would have to be looked at to get correct storage

so booster pump after cylinder on hot? .. he was told this is not possible by his builder/plumber .. think the cold water storage cisterns are in series x 3 as limited height in loft space
