Hi I have a query that I am hoping someone could help me with, I have recently been to see a customer who has two showers, when using the shower and any tap is turned on the shower scolds and reduces pressure, he has asked me if i could fit a pump onto his en suit shower as he is convinced that this will solve the problem!!! basically is he right or if not then what is his options if any, (apart from...dont use any other tap when having a shower)

please be patient with me I am still quite new to all this

i reckon it's either going to be a cheapo electric shower or a mixer shower on a combi. When a tap elsewhere is turned on the mains can't cope and the flow to the shower is reduced. If I'm right the solution is to increase the cold water flow rate by upgrding the cold main, fitting an accumulator or a home booster set.
