Type where water comes out of the bathoverflow and the other controls (i think from memory) do shower or bath filling.

Temperature control is really inaccurate, goes from scalding to cold and very imprecise. You can spin it round a few full 360's one way or t'other.

I've never installed one of these things, not sure how they are put together. I sent a pic to showerspares and they didn't recognise it.

What would you do? If replacing for another will it likely involve changing the whole shebang including bath overflow/filler bit and pipework in wall and whathaveyou? Re-tiling likely?

Thanks

if you take the plate of you should, assumimg it was fitted correctly, be able to remove it without breaking tiles finding another dead match will be the difficult bit but there may be enough pipework to alter

Sounds like chances of finding dead match slim and you'd likely have to have bought one and brought it along to offer it up and undone existing pipework to check for play before you'd really know.
