Shower problem

Hi all!
I had a new shower fitted about a 18 months ago, which has been running fine, until yesterday!
The shower is electric and directly fed cold water from the mains, I think. The problem is that the water pressure has dropped right off, when it was a strong jet up until yesterday.
it's almost like the flow rate has dropped. When the shower temp is turned up the water flow from the shower head is quite pathetic!!

Any help to identify the problem or things that I can check, would be gratefully received.

check if there is a filter, might be clogged.

like steve said, may well be some debris in the filter on the showers cold feed conection (if theres one fitted)
