Hi i live in a bungalow and the mains shower is pretty much useless and i want to fit a shower pump, i have a cold water tank in the loft and have good cold water pressure at shower head but hardly any hot water pressure, do i need a single or double pump and also can you please tell me if i need poitive head or negative head thank you for any help Trev.

Depends where you will be fitting the pump, where is your hot water cylinder? eg Pump in airing cupboard next to hot water cylinder will be positive.
Pump fitted above cold water tank in loft will be negative.
Have you got thermostatic shower valve? If so and cold water pressure is good you could fit a single pump to the hot water cylinder, it will need a Surrey or Warwick flange fitting to the cylinder so the pump has a separate feed from the domestic hot water.

Hope that helps
